Evan: Spain is interesting and old and cool! It's very, very hot. The buildings are big, detailed and fun to look at.
Ashtyn: Spain is really hot and it's fun to try new things.Avery: We go to the playground and we like to go in swimming pools. The water is warm at the beach.
What's been the funnest thing you've done so far?
Evan: Probably climb to the top of the cathedral.
Ashtyn: Bible camp!
Avery: Go to the swimming pool and that's it.
How's the food?
Evan: It's good! I've tried fish, tapas, paella... Donut peaches are delicious! The produce is very fresh and tastes above and beyond delicious.
Ashtyn: I love green olives! They are so good! When Grandma and Grandpa come I hope they try them but we will have to tell them that they have seeds in them.
Avery: It's yummy!
How's your Spanish coming along?
Evan: It's coming back little by little. I'm not used to everyone in public speaking Spanish or having to speak Spanish all the time. People speak very fast and the accent is a little bit different than what I'm used to.
Ashtyn: Pretty good! If you'd like to chat with me, please call! What's going to be hard about school is that I don't know Spanish really good but I'm trying to speak as much as I can.
Avery: Good! Muy bien! Bueos dias!
What's been the hardest part of living in Spain?
Evan: Not having a house. I don't have all my toys and I want my bed back and I want to feel like I'm at home.
Ashtyn: People like to talk to me in Spanish and it's hard because I don't always understand them.
Avery: Missing Mama and Papa
What plans are you looking forward to?
Evan: Going to Portugal and England
Ashtyn: I hope we find a really good school and that I make lots of new friends.
Avery: Going to the movie theater.
